BUCKCHERRY: Bakersfield Concert Cancelled
December 13, 2006BUCKCHERRY's previously announced December 14, 2006 headlining performance in Bakersfield, CA as part of KRAB's Crazy Bitchmas has been cancelled due to a "station scheduling conflict." Other bands that were slated to appear were UNWRITTEN LAW and HURT. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
BUCKCHERRY's latest album, "15", has been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies. The group's smash hit single "Crazy Bitch" has earned a Grammy nomination from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences in the category of "Best Hard Rock Performance". The lead single from the gold certified release "15" (Eleven Seven Music/Atlantic Records),"Crazy Bitch" is currently the most played song at Mainstream Rock radio along with the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS' "Dani California" for the year. "15" is the band's first studio album in four years, released in the U.S. in April 2006 with a debut at No. 2 on the Independent Album Chart. The out-of-the-box success of "15" gained the attention of Atlantic Records who immediately brought them up in the ranks adding them to the roster.
